Design Technology Week
In Design Technology this term the children have created beautiful picture frames out of wood. They used an Ancient Egyptian theme following on from our History topic, to decorate their final product which shows their Ancient Egyptian artefact perfectly.
We felt that the children were able to show all their learning powers during this project, especially resilience, with cutting and sticking the wood. We would like to say well done to all the children for such hard work and determination. We have kept three from each class to display in the corridor, the rest will be returned this week.

Mental Health Awareness
This week Years 3 and 4 took part in a series of activities for mental health awareness. On Tuesday we walked to The Gobians with Years 1 and 2. We walked around the woods looking at and collecting nature. We then came back to school to create some beautiful artwork which we took to the village green, on Thursday, to be hung up on the trees. We also wore yellow to help highlight the awareness of our mental health.

We had a fantastic sizzling start yesterday with the children being taken back to the Ancient Egyptian times.
It was great to see all the children dressing in amazing costumes while learning the crafts of the Ancient Egyptians.
