Appeals

If you wish to lodge an appeal for a place in our school this can be done on-line via the Hertfordshire Admissions website. www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/admissions

 

For transfer appeals, Hertfordshire parents can access the online system via their admissions account.  Parents who live out-of county or who applied on paper should use the appeals online system and will need to contact the Customer Service Centre on 0300 123 4043 in order to obtain their registration details to gain access.

 

For In Year appeals, parents should also use the appeals online system.

Primary school appeals – starting at primary 2026

 

This appeals process is for people applying for their child to start primary school for the first time in September 2026.

 

After allocation day on 16 April 2026, you will be able to appeal for any of the primary, infant, junior or middle schools you applied for but were unsuccessful. We'll tell you how to do that closer to the time.

 

  • Appeals deadline – submit your appeal by 4pm on 15 May 2026
  • Appeals will be heard between 10 June and 17 July 2026

 

Appeals lodged after these dates will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline or 30 school days of being lodged, whichever is the later date.
